Monthly Analysis · September 2026 / August 2026

Sample analysis with illustrative findings.

Executive summary

Sales increased 10%, but storage costs absorbed a quarter of the extra revenue. The leading docking station remained in stock while its share of the Featured Offer fell. Two-pack charging cables provide a stronger growth example, producing more units from the same number of product sessions.

PARSE 01

Storage absorbed a quarter of the extra revenue

Net sales grew from $120,000 to $132,000. Storage fees rose from $3,600 to $6,600, taking 25% of the sales increase before the effect of other fees.

After the selling, fulfilment and storage fees shown here, the amount remaining increased only 5.3%, from $84,000 to $88,440. Sales growth is positive, but more of it is being consumed by holding inventory. Product costs and advertising would still need to be deducted before discussing profit.

The bestseller stayed in stock, but appeared less often as the Featured Offer

The USB-C docking station’s share of the main buying offer fell from 86% to 54%. Product sessions increased 2%, yet ordered units dropped 32%, from 1,000 to 680.

Daily snapshots show stock was available throughout the period, so a recorded stockout does not explain the decline. Sales of this item fell to $34,000. Its offer competitiveness deserves investigation; the evidence does not establish whether price, delivery or another offer condition changed.

Two-pack charging cables grew without needing more product visits

Two-pack charging cables received the same 8,000 product sessions in both months, but ordered units rose from 400 to 640. Units per session increased from 5% to 8%, and sales reached $14,080 versus $8,000 previously.

More units are being sold from the same number of product sessions. This range is contributing growth without relying on a larger audience, making it a useful counterweight to the docking station’s decline.

The coupon is saved more often but used less

For the USB-C adapter bundle, coupon saves rose from 1,600 to 2,400, but uses fell from 400 to 360. Uses relative to saves dropped from 25% to 15%.

Both campaigns ran for 30 days with the same $4 discount and product set. Reported coupon sales fell from $16,000 to $14,400. Broader coupon interest is not turning into more purchases using it; expanding visibility alone would miss the weaker follow-through.

About these numbers

Net sales are after recorded refunds and exclude tax; the shown fees exclude product costs and advertising. Featured Offer is the main buying offer. Units per session measures units sold against product sessions, not the percentage of customers who purchased. Listing edits, promotions and competitor prices are not supplied. Coupon comparisons use two completed 30-day campaigns (2–31 August and 1–30 September), not snapshots of active cumulative campaigns. Coupon sales are reported sales associated with coupons, not incremental lift. Future collection requires the appropriate Amazon report access.
