Privacy policy
This policy explains how Parsora accesses, uses, stores and shares information when you use getparsora.com and app.getparsora.com.
1. Who we are
Parsora is operated by Cihangir Analytics Consultancy Ltd., Company No. 09597715, registered in England and Wales. For privacy enquiries, contact support@getparsora.com.
2. Information we process
Depending on how you use Parsora, we may process the following categories of information:
- Account information — information used to create and operate your Parsora account, such as your name, email address and authentication identifiers.
- Google Analytics connection information — OAuth credentials, connection status and the Google Analytics accounts or GA4 properties you are authorised to access.
- Google Analytics data — read-only reporting data and property/configuration metadata from the GA4 property you choose, to the extent needed to run Data Health checks, create a Business Snapshot, produce Parses, provide Explore evidence and generate your review.
- Parsora service data — business context you provide, generated analyses, Parses, saved reviews/PDFs, product usage records and feedback.
- Website and technical information — device/browser information, pages visited, referral information and interactions used for security, diagnostics and marketing-site measurement. We use Google Tag Manager to manage measurement tags on the marketing website.
- Support information — messages and information you provide when you contact us for help.
3. How Parsora uses Google user data
Parsora requests the minimum Google access needed to provide the functionality you choose. Google Analytics access is read-only: Parsora analyses the property you select and cannot edit your Google Analytics configuration through that connection.
We use Google Analytics data to provide Parsora features you request, including Data Health, Deep Dive analysis, Parses, Explore evidence, saved reviews and related product functionality. We may also use limited technical information to secure, troubleshoot and maintain the service.
Parsora's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs is intended to comply with the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements.
4. Why we process information
We process information where it is necessary to provide the service you request and manage our relationship with you; where we have legitimate interests in operating, securing and improving Parsora; where you have given consent for an optional use; or where processing is required to meet a legal obligation.
5. How information is shared
We do not sell your personal information or Google Analytics data. We may share information with service providers that host, store, secure, monitor or otherwise help us operate Parsora, acting on our behalf under appropriate confidentiality and data-protection obligations. We may also disclose information where required by law, to protect rights or security, or in connection with a legitimate corporate transaction.
Some service providers may process information outside the United Kingdom. Where required, we use an appropriate lawful transfer mechanism and safeguards for those transfers.
6. Storage, retention and deletion
- Google connection credentials are retained while your connection is active and needed to provide the connected service. When you disconnect Google Analytics, Parsora removes/revokes the stored connection credentials associated with that connection.
- Saved Deep Dives and reviews may remain available after disconnecting Google Analytics so that you can retain the analysis already created.
- Account deletion removes your Parsora account and associated stored live-service data. Residual copies may remain temporarily in backups or logs until they expire through normal backup/security cycles, or longer where retention is required by law.
- Support, security and operational records are retained only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purpose for which they were collected, including resolving disputes, preventing abuse and meeting legal obligations.
You can disconnect Google Analytics or request/delete your Parsora account through the product where those controls are available. You can also contact us at support@getparsora.com.
7. Security
We use technical and organisational measures designed to protect account credentials, connected data and generated reviews against unauthorised access, loss, misuse or disclosure. No internet service can guarantee absolute security.
8. Your data-protection rights
Depending on the circumstances and applicable law, you may have rights to access, correct, erase, restrict or object to processing of your personal information, and to receive certain information in a portable form. Where processing is based on consent, you can withdraw that consent at any time without affecting earlier lawful processing.
If you are in the UK, you may also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO).
9. Cookies and marketing-site measurement
Our marketing website uses Google Tag Manager to manage measurement and interaction tags. Tags configured through it may process technical and usage information and may use cookies or similar technologies. Where consent is required for a non-essential tag, we will apply the relevant consent controls.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as Parsora develops, including when we add new data connections or materially change how information is used. The latest version will be published on this page with an updated effective date.
